His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bahusain Bafail, issued an administrative decision to establish the Safety, Risk and Crisis Management Center (SAFE), affiliated to the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies.
This decision sprang from the vision of the university concerning the necessity of enhancing security and safety to guarantee sustainable development. It is also the result of the need to provide specialized experts who offer consultation and training in the field of security in manufacturing and construction projects as well as in the field of industrial safety, planning, and dealing with risks, calamities, and crises.
Moreover, His Excellency the UQU President issued two administrative decisions, as follows:
- Appointment of Dr. Abdul-Rahman bin Muhammad Asharaf Bashawri as General Supervisor of the Safety, Risk and Crisis Management Center (SAFE).
- Appointment of Dr. Aliyaa bint Abdualaziz bin Adnan Alfi as Deputy General Supervisor of the Safety, Risk and Crisis Management Center (SAFE).
His Excellency asks Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) to help them and grant them success in performing their duty towards knowledge and its seekers, and in raising the standard of this university to enable it to reach its desired goals.
