His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Prof. Abdullah Bafail, on Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies, launched the Aali Center for serving postgraduate students at the University. This event was attended by the UQU Vice President, Dr. Farid Al-Ghamdi, the UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Abdul-Wahhab Al-Resini, the Dean of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Sulaiman Al-Saeed, and the Dean of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, Dr. Ali Al-Sha`iri.
His Excellency examined the facilities of the center, which include a meeting hall, a corner equipped with all student necessities, an area for breaks, and individual study rooms, in addition to an area designated for officials for academic affairs as well as registration and graduation officials to facilitate the execution of student transactions.
It is noteworthy that 18 colleges contribute to the Aali program, which offers 86 postgraduate programs, 21 higher diplomas, 59 master's programs, and 6 doctoral programs.
