Under the auspices of His Excellency the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, Dr. Omar Al-Hazzazi, and in the presence of His Excellency the Vice Dean of the University College in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hazimi, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Mathami, the Vice Dean of the Community College, Dr. Ali Al-Eissa, and a number of academic staff and students, the College Vice Deanship of Community Service, in cooperation with the Directorate of Heath Affairs, celebrated the Healthy Marriage Day. His Excellency Mr. Badr bin Ahmad Al-Ghamdi, Head of the Premarital Screening Unit, and Dr. Adel Sayed Al-Wakeel delivered a lecture entitled, "For a Safe and Healthy Marriage, Act upon the Screening Results".

During the lecture, a large number of genetic and infectious diseases were covered, whose impact reflects on the healthy composition of the family, and subsequently its stability and happiness. The presenters illustrated the work of the unit, and directed the youth to visit the unit to carry out the necessary screening in order to know the genetic map that affects marital life.

On the other hand, the Vice Dean of the University College, His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Hazmi, pinpointed the importance of this lecture and its impact on family life and the formation of the society. His Excellency Dr. Badr Al-Ghamdi stressed the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to hold a number of educational lectures for young men and women. This is in order for them to learn what awaits them in their marital lives, and to contribute positively to the stability of the family and society and their freedom from genetic diseases.

At the end of the lecture, the Vice Dean of the University College for Community Service thanked the Directorate of Health Affairs and the two respected lecturers. The college, represented by its vice deanship, presented certificates of thanks and appreciation to Their Excellencies, and also to the audience for attending and for their fruitful discussions.
