The Supervising Committee for the project of Measuring Pilgrims and Visitors' Satisfaction with the Level of Services Offered During Hajj and Umrah held its first meeting at Umm Al-Qura University. This meeting aims at putting into action the memorandums of cooperation signed between the Emirate of Makah Province, represented by the Department of Hajj and Umrah Affairs, and the universities of the region.
His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, headed the meeting in which the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research offered the proposed vision for carrying out the project. This meeting took place in the presence of His Excellency the UQU Vice President, Prof. Farid Al-Ghamdi; Advisor to the UQU President for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, Prof. Abdulaziz Surouji; Dean of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, Dr. Bassim Qadi; Dean of the Scientific Research Dr. Muhammed Al-Soufi; and the Project Executive Director, Dr. Dhiyab Al-Maliki.
The project, which is supervised by the Emirate of Makkah Province, will be carried out by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research at Umm Al-Qura University, in cooperation with the universities of the region. This project aims at measuring pilgrims and visitors' satisfaction with the level of the offered services, and at developing a unified scientific vision to evaluate these services.
