The University Vice-Presidency for Postgraduate Studies and Research, represented by the Academic Council Secretariat, is delighted to congratulate staff members on their academic promotion; after the approval of the UQU President at the last session of the Council.

The Vice-Presidency wishes them further success and achievements in the academic research domain, and asks Allah -SWT- to protect them and allow them to achieve their academic aspirations.   

The Academic Council Secretariat is expecting the esteemed below-mentioned staff members, to pass by it to receive their promotion certificates, by the end of the upcoming week.

The Names of the Promoted Staff Members:

• Promotion of Dr. Ghazi bin Salah Huleil Al-Matrifi (Associate Professor at the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, the College of Education) to Professor.
• Promotion of Dr. Amin bin Zaid Muhammad Al-Harabi (Associate Professor at the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS), the College of Medicine) to Professor.
• Promotion of Dr. Abdullah bin Awwad Fahd Al-Jahni (Assistant Professor at the Department of Quranic Recitations, the College of Da'wa 'Islamic Call' and Fundamentals of Religion) to Associate Professor.
• Promotions of Dr. Samir bin Hasan Muhammad Nour Fatani (Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemstry, the College of Medicine) to Associate Professor.

In addition, proper recommendations were made for the topics presented on the agenda of the previously-mentioned session.
