The College of Public Health and Health Informatics at Umm Al-Qura University participated with the Deanship of Female Student Affairs in an educative exhibition on the Coronavirus. This activity was held on Monday, 23 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., corresponding to 17 February, 2020 A.C., at Al-Zahir Campus.
The exhibition included an awareness campaign for female students and affiliates of the university on Coronavirus, its causes, the most important symptoms and ways the virus spreads. It also tackled the importance of prevention in light of the lack of treatment and vaccine.
The activity included educative lectures and an exhibition that included several partitions related to Coronavirus. Her Excellency Dr. Laila Sulaiman Al-Fikki, and Ms. Manar Al-Nadawi, in addition to a constellation of outstanding female students from the Department of Health Education and Promotion at the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, participated in this activity.
These outstanding efforts exerted by the College of Public Health and Health Informatics at Umm Al-Qura University illustrate its leading role in serving the community.
