His Excellency said: "UQU adds today to its balance this renewed cultural achievement through the charity fund carrying a message reflecting the pulse of the Kingdom and its weight, the noble objective and the steadfastness and credibility of the methodical corporate work." He pointed out that this is an opportunity to give, support and provide a gate to development and doing good. He pointed out that UQU Charity Fund comes at the forefront of these projects and initiatives and is soaked with the aroma of Makkah and the vicinity of the Holy Mosque.  This is a wider concept of easing the burden of a young man seeking knowledge, or relieving expatriates, then it goes beyond this later to establishing specialized scientific projects in the dissemination of the language of the Koran and prepare specific programs for the rehabilitation of the elite of this delegation. Moreover, it is a solidification of the role of our great country -supported by Allah, and laying the foundations of loyalty and belonging in enlightened minds.

His Excellency referred to the care Saudi Arabia gives to Muslims in their countries and in the Holy Land, stating that the leaders give special attention to scholarships, as the responsibility of KSA towards Muslims is a duty as well as an honor. He stressed that Saudi Arabia is where the hearts of the Muslims are directed and that it is at the heart of the Islamic world and in the hearts of Muslims, and that adopting such projects provide bridges between the leaders of this country and its elites and sons with Muslims.

He pointed out that the Muslim community is implementing Islam as a creed, worship, law, order, morals and manners, according to the Quran and Sunnah, and taking the example of the Prophet (Pbuh), Caliphs and righteous ancestors. He explained that the community's commitment to this path finds a prominent place in society for social solidarity where its contents and requirements are realized. He asserted that Islam cares about integrated community building and that its books are filled with texts and provisions to reflect the picture described by Prophet Mohammed (Pbuh) for that community as stated in Saheeh Muslim: "The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever". One of its ways is interdependence, which is reflected  in this charitable funds dealing with important aspects for community members to achieve their integration in existence and responsibilities in their communities. Due to the importance of charity funds and their social impact and volunteer role, they need sponsors and developers.

His Excellency continued "I believe that the  charity fund project to support scholarship students is a form of the solidarity sought after, especially as it takes care of a segment that is endeared by all, and they are our sons of students coming from abroad to seek science and knowledge," wishing Allah t grant all continued success in both religious and worldly matters, and everyone uses it in obedience to Allah.

Then UQU President Dr. Bakri Maatouq Assas spoke, on this occasion, saying: "Saudi Arabia which is now in the forefront of the Arab Nation  and advocating unification, had sensed that it is her duty to spread the proper religion, with its moderate approach, derived from the light of the inspiration, and the understanding of the righteous ancestors, that's why the external scholarship program that hosts Muslims from all over the world was established. It provides them with a decent livelihood and opens learning for them, starting with Arabic language study to postgraduate degrees.

He stated that this program produced thousands who have become advocates in their countries, and bearers of the methodology of the Sunnah people. He stated that UQU is one of the highest  Universities in receiving students with scholarships. He advised that the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has exerted every effort to serve students and not fail in anything. This is what makes us and every loyal citizen in the country walk hand in hand with the leaders of this country by all his effort and, for that reason UQU sought to establish (Charity Fund to support scholarship students program) to be the point of convergence between the efforts of the State and contributions of those who wish to support scholarship students and their projects, and to support Arabic language courses for non-native speakers.

He said: "By proudly launching this Fund we affirm that the UQU under the guidance of the country leaders, will spare no effort in supporting external scholarship program, and will not fail to work to educate and guide them and train them so they will perform the mission set out for them by this blessed country," pointing out that the Fund was honored by the acceptance of some sheikhs and officials to be members of the Board of Trustees, may Allah reward them. after that UQU President honored the individual and corporate participants that attended.
