Her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Abeer Al-Sabban, participated in the Students [Tabseer] Advancement Meeting, entitled: "My Rights and Duties", which was held as part of the awareness campaigns being organized in the Deanship of Student Affairs, represented by the Deanship of Student Support. The meeting took place on Thursday, 12 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., at Al-Jawhara Hall, and addressed the issue of bullying and its causes and effects. Dr. Maysoun Al-Bunyan, the Vice Dean of Postgraduate Studies, attended the event.
During the meeting, Her Excellency Dr. Abeer Al-Sabban talked about the difference between traditional and electronic bullying, and the main dissimilarities between them. She also pointed out that electronic bullying is more dangerous than traditional bullying, because of the psychological anxiety it causes and the viral spread of its content. She concluded the meeting by clarifying the major negative effects of bullying.
