The Public Relations and Media Department (female section), in cooperation with the Yosr Women’s Center, organized a cultural and awareness-raising program concerned with family and society affairs on Wednesday, 27 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., at Al-Jawhara Hall in Al-Zahir. The program, entitled: “Love and Peace”, was held in the presence of Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, and with the participation of Dr. Haifaa Fida, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yosr Women's Center, the vice deans, academic staff members, and the UQU affiliates.

The program included three scientific sessions touching on the importance of the basic pillars of building an ideal family, promoting and disseminating cultural awareness among its members, especially the parents, to preserve the social ties of the family, and protecting it from the negative internal and external factors that may affect its social and family components and bonds.

The sessions included numerous contributions, inputs, and inquiries on the part of the audience which focused, in their totality, on the factors that foster the family as a basic component of society.

On her part, Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli opened the exhibition accompanying the event, and Dr. Haifaa Fida, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yosr Women's Center, and the UQU vice deans accompanied her on the opening tour.
