On Thursday, 12 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., the Vice Deanship of Admission and Registration (female section) participated in the Students Advancement Meeting [Ertiqaa]: ‘My Rights and Duties’, organized by the Tabsir Club under the umbrella of the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs for Student Support.
The Deanship of Admission and Registration participated in the penalty and academic failure theme presented by Dr. Fatimah bint Ali Al-Ghamdi, who discussed types of academic penalties and the different ways they are implemented, as well as their negative impact on the student's academic progress. She also explained the executive and the guiding role of the deanship. After that, students were briefed on the mistakes they make while following up the penalty procedures or petition request. She then responded to the inquiries from the female students.
A team from the deanship participated in a corner devoted to interacting with the students and responding to their inquiries.
It is to be noted that the deanship saves no effort in participating with the various parties inside and outside the university in such a manner which ensures developing students' awareness of their academic rights and duties.
