Within the framework of the “We Read: Tomorrow We Upgrade” initiative implemented by the Department of Arabic Language (female section), based on the directives of Her Excellency the Deputy Head of Department, Dr. Rabi`ah Al-Mubarak, and in cooperation with all members of the department in teaching female college workers, this initiative has been made possible. This was with the supervision and encouragement of the Vice Dean of the University College, Dr. Sharifah Al-Hazmi, and in communication with the Department of Adult Education, which provided the department with courses and textbooks for their study.

The initiative was launched during the first semester 1440–1441 A.H. in the college campus and the extension. Due to the desire of the female students to learn and the seriousness of those in charge, the initiative will continue during the second semester until all the benefits are reaped and the desired goals are achieved. The initiative had a profound impact on the workers, and successfully contributed in making them feel happy.
