The Public Relations and Media Unit at Al-Qunfudhah University College held a meeting today in the presence of the Director of the Public Relations and Media Unit, His Excellency Dr. Turki Husain Samraqandi, and the Deputy Director of the Public Relations and Media Unit, His Excellency Dr. Murad Yasin Al-Rafua. The meeting was also attended by a group of media professionals and amateurs from among the students of the University College: Muhammad Al-Zubaidi, Abdul-Rahman Al-Sahbi, Abdul-Rahman Al-Hilali, Hasan Al-Faqih, and Hasan Balqasim. Members of the Public Relations and Media Unit attended this meeting to discuss the work and the duties consigned to each member, and to achieve their desired goals.

The meeting aimed at: displaying the positive image to the guests of the university and the visiting professors, in a way that suits the status of the university; highlighting educational thought, innovative thinking, and skillful education; and underlining the existence of media on the educational arena.

The duties included: following up activities and events at the University College, producing documentaries and educative films, coordinating between different deanships and administrations, documenting different media products that are carried out by the unit, conducting specialized training workshops in the media field for students, organizing conferences and seminars, holding press meetings, writing speech texts, and organizing internal and external exhibitions.

Moreover, a deadline was defined for launching social networks by the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, His Excellency Prof. Omar Al-Hazzazi, for Tuesday, at 1:30.

On his part, the Director of the Public Relations and Media Unit and his deputy offered many thanks to the Dean of the University College, His Excellency Dr. Omar Al-Hazzazi, for the support he offers to the unit and all the affiliates and students of the University College.
