The Head of UQU Department of Mass Communication at the College of Social Sciences honored the students of the field training course for public relations, which was presented by a teaching assistant in the department, Mr. Zuhair Hawsawi. The program was implemented by dividing the students into groups, and then explaining methods and topics before starting the actual training. The training started with fierce competition between the groups, with one of them exhibiting distinctive talents, resulting in them being honored in appreciation of the fruitful and outstanding efforts they exerted during the first semester of the academic year 1441 A.H.

The special features of this training included the following. The students were encouraged to apply methods of public relations management in the institutions, in various aspects, such as: developing a plan, determining the goals, setting the administrative structure of the public relations management, and designing brochures and journals.

The special training features also included making students practice their diction skills by explaining their duties before their colleagues. This was in order to foster and support their scientific and practical progress.
