1250 Students Take E-Exams for the General Chemistry 101 Course (Theoretical and Practical)

The Department of Chemistry at the College of Applied Sciences, in collaboration with the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education and the Joint First Year Deanship, organized e-exams for the general chemistry course (theoretical and practical) for the students of the College of Applied Sciences and the students of the Joint First Year. The chemistry exams included 63 divisions, comprising 1250 students.

The exams were conducted in an impressive atmosphere, organized and coordinated in an orderly way, in cooperation with the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education, under outstanding supervision and with technical support.

The Head of the Chemistry Department, Dr. Ismail bin Ibrahim Al-Thaqafi, extended his thanks and appreciation to all those involved in this regard and played a significant role in making these exams a success, including the Deanship of the College of Applied Sciences, represented by the Dean of the College, Dr. Hatim Al-Tas, who has been and remains a supporter to the departments in conducting the e-exams for the different courses, taking advantage of this type of exam in saving effort and time.

He also extended his thanks to the Dean of E-Learning and Distance Education, Dr. Khalid Al-Mutairi, the Vice Dean of the College for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Ahmad Humaid, and the team of the deanship for their outstanding and continued efforts in providing a good environment for conducting the e-exams.

His thanks also extended to include His Excellency the Dean of the Joint First Year, Dr. Saad bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, and the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Waheeb Al-Harbi, for supporting and approving the holding of the exams in the labs of the joint first year, and their fruitful cooperation with the Department of Chemistry in all matters related to the general chemistry 101 course.

Special thanks were also extended to the academic staff members at the Department of Chemistry who prepared and supervised the e-exams.
