The UQU Vice Presidency for Female Student Affairs organized "My Protection" forum, which was launched in conjunction with the "International 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence" campaign during the period from Monday 28 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., until 13 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1441 A.H. The event took place at Al-Jawhara Hall in Al-Zahir, female section, in the presence of a number of university affiliates, vice deans, academic staff and students, in addition to specialized public and private sector institutions.
In her speech, the UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, confirmed the responsibility of all parties to combat all types and causes of violence by effecting awareness programs and forums, enriching them with various scientific sessions and discussions to educate university employees and students about the status of women and their central role in society.
Her Excellency the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bin Omar Al-Khuli, launched the accompanying exhibition of the event, which portrayed images of violence and its various forms as drawings telling silent stories of the suffering of battered women.
