The Department of Tourism and Hotel Management at the UQU College of Business Administration organized an introductory meeting on the hotel sector in the presence of the College Dean, Dr. Ihsan Al-Muataz, and the managers of the hotel sectors and students, at the college's celebration hall.

First, Hilton Makkah Jabal Omar Hotel gave a presentation on the hotel sector in general and the job opportunities available in it. Afterwards, the meeting discussed the career opportunities available in the Hilton Group, and how to apply for them. Next, Anjum Hotel made a presentation on the Anjum Company and its future projects.

It is noteworthy that Anjum Hotel provided part-time job opportunities for students of the College of Business Administration which allow the students to specify how many days and hours they will work without this affecting their academic achievement.

On her part, the Deputy Head of the Department, Ms. Lamia Berzi, considered that such regular meetings strengthen the relationship with the business sector, and increase employment chances for students in this important field.

Lastly, the Head of the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, Dr. Ali Qasim, expressed his appreciation to the group of hotels that attended the meeting, and he stressed the importance of exchanging such visits between the two sides. Finally, the Dean of the College of Business Administration presented certificates of appreciation to both Hilton Jabal Omar Hotel Group and Anjum Hotel.
