Her Excellency the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, participated in the ceremony to honor Prof. Halah bint Saeed Al-Amoudi, under the slogan "The Giving Halah", on the occasion of the end of her tenure as Dean of University Studies. The honoring ceremony was held on Wednesday 23 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., at Al-Jawhara Hall in Al-Zahir, female section, in the presence of a group of university leaders, deans, vice deans, and faculty members.
The ceremony started with the reception of Dr. Halah at Mahbas Hijazi to welcome her, followed by the recitation of verses of the Noble Qur'an. The Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, gave a speech praising the achievements and hard work of Dr. Halah, and thanked her for her tangible efforts in the service of the university and the country. A recorded speech from Dr. Halah's family was played during the ceremony. An interesting dialogue was held with Dr. Halah, during which she touched on her biography and some of the personal and practical aspects of her life.
The ceremony concluded with honoring Her Excellency Dr. Halah Al-Amoudi, presenting her with souvenirs, and displaying the shields she was awarded. Everyone wished her much success and progress. Lunch was then served to celebrate the occasion.
