The College of Pharmacy congratulates its team for obtaining the third place, praise be to Allah, in the ideas marathon held at the "My Protection" forum on Thursday, 1 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1441 A.H. The college team consisted of the teaching assistant in the Department of Pharmacognosy, Ms. Khadijah Jabal, the lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Ms. Ashwaq Al-Anzi, and the students Naela Fallatta and Waad Al-Harbi.
Their idea 'Protection Bracelet' aims to provide protection for abused persons who cannot call for help when being attacked. It is a bracelet with an alarm linked to an application that sends notifications to the competent authorities when the person wearing it is subjected to violence. The bracelet also contains awareness programs to get rid of violence, and assist abused persons to overcome the crisis.
