As part of the UQU's efforts to educate the university community and raise awareness about the manifestations of violence against women and their evil effects, and also acquaint them with the applicable laws, regulations, and legal procedures for reporting and protecting women against violence in the Saudi Kingdom, Her Excellency Dr. Suzan Sadaqah Basyuni took part in the Combating Violence Against Women forum, ‘My Protection’. Her participation was in a discussion session entitled: "Psychological and Social Causes and Effects of Violence", on Wednesday, 30 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H. The third session of the forum came under the title: "Issues and Consultation Concerning the Different Aspects of Violence (Family, Physical, Psychological, and Social)", which was moderated by Her Excellency Dr. Nouf Al-Jaeid, a professor at the Department of Classical Arabic Rhetoric and Literary Criticism and Deputy of the Intellectual Awareness Unit.

Concluding the session, Her Excellency Dr. Samirah Al-Abdali, the Dean of University Studies, and Dr. Haifaa Fida both honored Her Excellency Dr. Suzan Sadaqah Basyuni. They lauded the informative discussions conducted in the session, addressing various issues and providing consultation services on the manifestations of violence. They also praised the awareness raising, educational and therapeutic guidance provided in the session. At the end of the discussion session, several recommendations were made.
