On Wednesday, Rabi’ al-awwal 22, 1438H, the Permanent Committee for Scholarship and Training held its sixth session for the academic year 1437/1438H. It was chaired by Dr. Thamer bin Himdan Al-Harbi, UQU Vice-President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and attended by Dr. Ahmad bin Yusuf Barqawi, General Supervisor on the Department of Scholarships, and all members of the committee.

Mr. Wael bin Abdulraziq Shaldoum, Committee Secretary, denoted that the committee has discussed the topics included on the agenda and has taken the proper recommendations, as follows:

1. 1 scholar was recommended to receive scholarship approval.
2. 4 scholars were recommended to receive extension approval to study language.
3. 3 scholars were recommended to receive extension approval to study PhD.
4. 1 scholar was recommended to receive approval for university change.
5. 2 scholars were recommended to receive approval for university campus change.
6. 2 scholars were recommended to receive approval for scientific trip.
7. 3 scholars were recommended to receive approval for ending their scholarships.
