The members of the Student Pharmacy Club of the Deanship of Student Affairs at Umm Al-Qura University took part in the MS (Multiple Sclerosis) event, held under the noble patronage of Her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College of Student Affairs at the female section, Dr. Alaa bint Muhammad Al-Qahtani, and the Student Club Coordinator, Ms. Fatin Mansur Al-Hataili. The club members participated with a booth at the MS event, entitled: ‘To Gain a New Lease on Life’, which was held at Al-Zahir Campus (female section) under the patronage of the University Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bin Omar Al-Khuli, on Wednesday, 9 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., corresponding to 6 October 2019 A.C.
The MS event included an overview of the disease, and the latest studies and research related to it. The symptoms of the disease were also explained. Finally, the participants answered the most common questions regarding the disease, and distributed awareness publications they had prepared.
At the end of their participation in the event, the members of the Pharmacy Club were handed certificates of appreciation for their effective contribution in the meeting.
