The student club at the College of Pharmacy, Umm Al-Qura University, held a workshop entitled, "Preparing Summaries". The event was presented by the pharmacist, Hamid Alawi (MR at GSK, Pharm D, Umm Al-Qura University), on Sunday, 2 November, 2019 A.C.

The workshop discussed the following topics:

• Understanding the concept of summaries.
• Acquiring the technique of summarizing.
• Applying the steps in summarizing.

The total number of beneficiaries of the workshop: 26 male and female students.

The total number of training hours: two hours.
