The UQU Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, represented by the Scientific Council, is pleased to announce that academic promotions of the staff members submitted to the last University Council session have been approved by the UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas. More success in the domain of scientific research is wished for them. May Allah, the Almighty, protect them in order to achieve their wishes and ambitions!
The Scientific Council Secretariat has put forth relevant recommendations for the topics on the agenda of the above-mentioned session.

- Promotion of Dr. Saud bin Saad Namer Al-Utaiby, Associate Professor at the Department of Aqidah 'Islamic Creed' (College of Da'wa 'Islamic Call' and Fundamentals of Religion) to: "Professor."
- Promotion of Dr. Abdurrahman bin Hussein Abdullah Al-Mawjan, Assistant Professor at the Department of Shari'ah (College of Shari'ah 'Islamic Law' and Islamic Studies) to: “Associate Professor."
