In sponsorship from the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Dr. Bakri bin Maatooq Assas, the College of Pharmacy will participate in the exhibition of the First Scientific Research Forum with 41 research posters that will cover all pharmaceutical domains.   

The Forum will continue for two days (20th -21st Rabi’I 1438H). It will include lectures and workshops specialized in scientific research and its modern approaches, in addition to the accompanying exhibition.

The College’s staff members will participate in the event within the framework of interaction with university academics and specialists in the various domains of research, and facilitation of cooperation and knowledge exchange, and utilization of the latest scientific and practical developments.   

The most distinguished research participations of the College’s staff members included the use of modern methods and technologies and global standards that guaranteed safe use of pharmaceuticals, less pharmaceutical mistakes (especially in the hazardous pharmaceuticals), in addition to application of quality standards that were recommended by the most famous world health organizations for the best health care quality. This would develop therapeutic services and prevent diseases, especially chronic ones.
