The male and female students at the fifth year of the UQU college of Pharmacy, on Thursday, 24 October, 2019 A.C., corresponding to 25 Safar, 1441 A.H., visited Batterjee Pharmaceutical Factory in Jeddah, under the supervision of Dr. Asim Yusuf and Dr. Haitham Bukhari. The female students were accompanied by Dr. Najlaa Abdullah bin Ubaid.
The visit started at 9:30 a.m., and lasted until 1:00 p.m.
The students were briefed about three main sections in the factory, as follows:
The factory administration sent the heads of these sections to give a presentation, providing the students with a clear explanation about the nature of the work inside these sections. This was to help them link their theoretical study with the practical application in the factory. A detailed scientific discussion then took place between the students and the heads of these sections.
Due to Allah's grace, the visit was a success. The supervisors of the visit from the College of Pharmacy expressed their thanks to those in charge of the factory for the support and keenness they attached to the male and female students.
