The club aims at providing media and knowledge enrichment to the university community as well as training the students across the whole university. The event was held on Wednesday 24 of Safar 1441 A.H., at the events hall in the College of Social Sciences.

His Excellency Dr. Adnan bin Nuri Al-Maghamsi applauded the efforts exerted by those in charge of the Mass Communication Club and urged them to make continued efforts to help promote the Mass Communication Club and the Department of Mass Communication in general. He said: "A student of Mass Communication must be inspiring and encouraging to others, since Mass Communication is a progressive and renovating specialization that needs a talent to help the student perform well."

It's expected that the Club of Mass Communication can attain success in the social and training fields, as well as the delivery of lectures, provided that training and lectures are performed at a very high level appropriate to the status of the college.

In consistence with 2030 vision, the College of Social Sciences must play a broad role in external societal activities. In addition, Department of Mass Communication must communicate with the external bodies as well as with the in-campus institutions. Consequently, well will go together to play our roles in the external society. Furthermore, the Club must be keen to leave impacts on students of other departments inside the college in order to form work teams.

Dr. Salim Urijah, the Head of the Mass Communication Department, stressed the importance of participation in activities different from the traditional lectures inside the university, assuring that it's an opportunity for everybody to enhance their talents and skills as well as benefiting from the students of the Department of Mass Communication, who are known for their work outside the university, including speech delivering, photography, TV direction, and management of public relation events and activities. Further, he hoped the club's activities would be stimulating to the students.

At the end, His Excellency confirmed that the club must start strongly in the right direction in accordance with the pre-planned schedule of activities and events.
