The UQU Media Center continued the series of its training programs for male and female staff in its third consecutive week with a specialized course on "Digital Marketing and Strategies of Social Media Accounts Management". It was held in the presence of the Supervisor of the Media Center, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shinqiti, and his two deputies, Dr. Omar Al-Malki and Dr. Manal Khouj, the Manager of the Center, Mr. Ayman Al-Hamad, and the supervisors of the work systems.
Dr. Al-Shinqiti stressed the importance of these courses and their accompanying workshops in generating quality ideas and creating a cooperative environment between the members of the center. This is via the panels of discussion which include creative plans and development goals for the systems work. He referred to the diversity of the offered programs, which meet all aspects of editing and the content industry, basics of photography, digital marketing, and ways of utilizing media content in highlighting the efforts of the university and the achievements of its staff.
The workshop, which lasted for two days, included mechanisms of media dissemination through social media channels, as well as phases of content planning, manufacturing and production in such a manner that serves the target audience. This was in addition to strategies of developing account management and reaching interested people, interacting with their inquiries and measuring performance indicators to ensure sustainability of work system development.
