Due to the directives of His Excellency the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, Prof. Omar bin Abdullah Al-Hazzazi, with the supervision and follow-up of the Vice Dean of the College (female section), Dr. Sharifah Al-Hazimi, and under the patronage of His Excellency the Governor of Al-Qunfudhah, Mr. Fada bin Bain Al-Buqami, the female students of Al-Qunfudhah University College participated with the Health Affairs Directorate in Al-Qunfudhah at the Training and Scholarship Center, 2nd floor, Conference Hall, in launching the breast cancer campaign, confirming the deanship's partnership with the community. The campaign was launched under the title, "Don't wait for symptoms ... Have a checkup now", on Tuesday, 16 Safar 1441 A.H.

The administrative and academic departments participated with brochures, leaflets, and guidelines including useful information about the symptoms of breast cancer to raise the awareness of the community members, health education, and the knowledge of the means of fighting cancer, as well as transferring information to the family and community. This was to consolidate efforts of raising awareness about the risks of breast cancer, and fighting and eliminating it.
