Faculty Members Affairs Department Organizes Workshop on E-Vacations

Representing the UQU Vice-Presidency, the Department of Faculty Members Affairs held a 3rd workshop under the theme: "E-Vacation System Between Reality and Expectations."  The workshop, held on Thursday, Rabee' I 9, 1438H, at King Abdulaziz Seconday Auditorium (1) for men, and simultaneously at Khukeir Auditorium for women, was attended by Dr. Yasser bin Suleiman Shushu, the UQU Vice President, Mr. Nizar Abbas Younis, head of the Department of Personnel Affairs, and his assistant, Mr. Omar Ba-Zaraah, as well as heads and assistant heads of the other departments.

This workshop is one of a series of workshops oriented to heads and assistant-heads of departments, aiming at improvement of the organizational and administrative environment. It reflects the vice-presidency's keen interest in providing initiatives meant to achieve administrative development in all services provided by the vice-presidency.

The workshop was initiated with a welcome address by Dr. Yasser Suleiman Shushu, the UQU Vice President. He welcomed heads of departments coming from Al-Zaher Girls' Campus, and commended their interest in attending such workshops, which, embodies their sense of responsibility, and reflects their craving for development and excellence.

He pointed out that the workshop is an episode of a series of integrating workshops aiming at qualitative and quantitative development. He also lauded the keen interest shown by Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas, UQU President, in such workshops, and in allowing the target group to get the most out of them.

It followed that Mr. Sami al-Qarehi provided an elaborate account of the HR System and its guide. And then he exhaustively explained the new e-vacation system. And of course there were constructive interactions, comments and inquiries made all through the workshop. At the end, several recommendations were put forth, and will be announced once approved.
