In the presence of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies at Umm Al-Qura University held a scientific workshop entitled, "The Future Plans of UQU Oasis for Consultation". At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Al-Sha`iri, welcomed the audience and gave a presentation about Umm Al-Qura Oasis for Consultation.

Next, Omraniyoun Company gave a presentation about the engineering designs of the UQU Oasis for Consultation. After that, Dr. Raed Shalwala gave a presentation about Faran Center, which was followed by KPMG Company, who gave a presentation about the economic feasibility of the center. At the conclusion of the workshop, the Vice Dean of the Consulting Research and Studies Institute, Dr. Yusuf Al-Utaibi, highlighted the proposed solution for establishing Faran Center. The inquiries of the audience were then answered.

Their Excellencies the Vice Presidents of the University and the deans of the colleges attended the workshop.

The Dean of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Al-Sha`iri, praised the continuous support of His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, the President of Umm Al-Qura University, toward the Institute. He also praised the boundless support of the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Hani bin Othman Ghazi, praying to Allah, the Almighty, to grant everyone more guidance and success.
