UQU President Takes Administrative Decisions

The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatooq Assas, has taken a set of administrative decisions.

The Advisor to the UQU President, and Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi, announced that the said decisions stipulated:

  1. Designating Mr. Majed bin Mahmoud Yaaqoub Farrash as the Vice Dean of Information Technology a tenure of six months as of Rabee' I 06, 1438H;
  2. Designating Mr. Muhammad bin Ali Muhammad Ba-Sendewah as the Head of the Department of Community Medicine and Health Care at Qunfudah College of Medicine for a tenure of six months as of Rabee' I 06, 1438H, in addition to his original post as the Vice Dean of the College for Hospital Affairs;
  3. Renewing mandate of Dr. Amer bin Saeed Amer al-Shahri as the Head of the Department of Social Service at the Al-Leith University College for a tenure of six months as of Rabee' I 19, 1438H, in addition to his original post as the Vice Dean of Leith College of Health Sciences;
  4. Renewing mandate of Dr. Mahmoud bin Abdullah Ibrahim Naja as Supervisor of the Vice Deanship of Qunfudah College of Medicine for Postgraduate Studies and Research for a tenure of one year as of Rabee' I 12, 1438H, in addition to his original post as supervisor of the college's Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology;
  5. Renewing mandate of Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulmone'm Muhammad al-Hefni Abdurrahman as Supervisor of the Vice Deanship of Qunfudah College of Medicine for a tenure of one year as of Rabee' I 25, 1438H, in addition to his original post as supervisor of the college's Department of Medical Genetics;
  6. Renewing mandate of Dr. Ibrahim bin Muhammad Abdurrahim Shaiki as supervisor of the Vice Deanship of Qunfudah College of Medicine for Academic Affairs and Development for a tenure of one year as of Rabee' I 25, 1438H, in addition to his original post as supervisor of the college's Department of Internal Medicine;
  7. Renewing mandate of Prof. Musaad bin Muhammad Muhammad Awdah as supervisor of the Department of Biochemistry, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, and Department of Pediatrics at Qunfudah College of Medicine for a tenure of one year as of Rabee' I 13, 1438H;
  8. Renewing mandate of Dr. Omar bin Muhammad Abdulbaqi Abdullah as supervisor of the Department of Pathology, Department of Microbiology, and Department of Parasitology at Qunfudah College of Medicine for a tenure of one year as of Rabee' I 13, 1438H;
  9. Renewing mandate of Dr. Muhammad bin Abdurrahman Muhammad Eisa as supervisor of the Department of Physicology, and Department of Hematology and Immunology at Qunfudah College of Medicine for a tenure of one year as of Rabee' I 13, 1438H;
  10. Renewing mandate of Dr. Zeinab bent Muhammad al-Khedr Muhammad Mahmoud al-Qadi as Vice Dean of the College of Community and Continuing Education (Girls Section) for a tenure of two years as of Dhul-Qe'dah 1, 1437H;
  11. Renewing mandate of Dr. Jamilah bent Muhammad Mekki Abdullah Selti as Vice Dean of the College of Community and Continuing Education (Girls Section) for a tenure of two years as of Dhul-Qe'dah 1, 1437H; and
  12. Renewing mandate of Ms. Majeda bent Abduljalil Saeed Farhan as Vice Dean of Qunfudah University College of Academic Development and Quality (Girls Section) for a tenure of six months as of Rabee' I 27, 1438H, in addition to her original post as head of the college's Department of Domestic Education (Girls Section).

The UQU President, Dr. Assas, wished them good luck with their new positions, and called upon them to make every effort to drive the university to the sought-after target.
