The UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Hani bin Othman Ghazi, visited the university branch at Al-Qunfudhah yesterday (Tuesday). The visiting team was compromised of the departments associated with the vice presidency, including the Dean of the Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, Dr. Ali Al-Sha`iri, the Dean of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute, Dr. Muwaffaq Urijah, the Vice Dean of Development and Quality, Dr. Dhiab bin Ayid Al-Malki, and the Vice Dean of Information Technology, Dr. Majid Farrash.

A meeting was held in the presence of the acting Dean of the College of Health Sciences in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Omar Al-Hazzazi, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Sa`ati, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Alawi Bamahdi, the Vice Dean of the Computer College, Dr. Muhammad Al Mujamid, a number of the college vice deans, and the department heads.

The visitors aimed to meet with the colleges in Al-Qunfudhah governorate to learn about their needs and requirements to prepare these colleges to perform their mission in the most convenient manner possible. The visit comes within the plan of the UQU Vice Presidency for Development and Entrepreneurship to increase quality and ensure its implementation in all fields to reflect positively on the outcomes of these colleges and to qualify their students for the labor market to serve this blessed country in various scientific disciplines in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.

Later, the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College held a luncheon in honor of the distinguished visitors.
