Promotions at the Twenty-Eighth Session of the Academic Council for Academic Staff

The Secretariat of the Academic Council is pleased to announce to the academic staff the approval of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University of their promotions included in the twenty-eighth session of the Academic Council for the academic year 1439/1440 A.H. The secretariat members wish newly appointed teaching staff more success in the field of scientific research, and supplicate Allah to encompass them with His care and support to enable them to achieve their ambitions and accomplish their goals.

** The Academic Council Secretariat requests that the below-mentioned academic staff members visit the council by the end of the coming week.

Names of academic staff members, and their promotions:

  1. Promotion of Dr. Khalid bin Ahmad Hasan Babtin, an associate professor at the Islamic Studies Center, College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, to professor.
  2. Promotion of Dr. Hayat bint Abdulaziz Muhammad Niyaz, an associate professor at the Department of Islamic and Comparative Education, College of Education, to professor.
  3. Promotion of Dr. Hala bint Muhammad Husain Jistiniyah, an associate professor at the Department of Shari`ah, College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, to professor.
  4. Promotion of Dr. Muhammad Khalid bin Yusuf Muhammad Shambur, an assistant professor at the Department of Information and Scientific Services at the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, to associate professor.
  5. Promotion of Dr. Masha`il bint Khalid Omar Baqasi, an assistant professor at the Department of Da`wah and Islamic Culture, College of Da`wah and Fundamentals of Religion, to associate professor.
  6. Promotion of Dr. Khuloud bint Abdullah Ayid Al-Thubaiti, an assistant professor at the Department of English Language, College of Social Sciences, to associate professor.
  7. Promotion of Dr. Ghadah bint Muhammad Ali Al-`Uqla, an assistant professor at the Department of Shari`ah, College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, to associate professor.

Moreover, suitable recommendations for the topics included in the agenda of the aforementioned session were made.
