The Dean of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research of Umm Al-Qura University, Dr. Hamza Ghulman  discussed with the Director of the Civil Defense Directorate in Makkah Col. Ali Al-Montashri, the mechanism of cooperation between the two parties in several fields including; assigning the institute as an advisor to the operation  center during the times of floods and natural crises, establishing flood simulation forms, linking climate monitoring stations of the Institute with the Civil Defense System, establishing applied programs to monitor fuel and gas tankers inside Makkah, conducting different  programs besides exchanging and updating risk maps.
