A memorandum of understanding was signed in the framework of the contribution made by Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office, in supporting one of the most important pillars of the national vision, which is mainly focused on human construction, with the view of enabling the individual to contribute to community development. It also came as part of the efforts carried out by the university's administration to provide all the services needed to enhance the endeavors exerted by its employees towards achieving the university's objectives and visions. The memorandum of understanding was signed on Tuesday 6 Dhul-Qi`dah 1440 A.H., corresponding to 9 July 2019, and aimed at establishing a strategic partnership in the field of building and equipping nurseries and kindergartens in the various headquarters and branches of the university which will be located near the workplaces of its staff as well as the residence of the female students.
The university was represented in the signing of the memorandum by His Excellency the General Supervisor of the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office, Dr. Ehab bin Abdul-Rahim Melibari. As for the other party, Tatweer Building Company was represented in the signing by His Excellency the Chief Executive Officer for institutional transformation, Mr. Badr bin Bedah Al-Faghm.
The General Supervisor of the Initiatives Management and Vision Realization Office welcomed this fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Education, represented by Tatweer Building Company, with regard to the implementation of the initiative of building and equipping nurseries and kindergartens. He also expressed his sincere thanks to the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, for his constant support for any initiative that helps develop the university's infrastructure and the services offered to the employees, the students, and the community at large.
