The Dr. Yasser ibn Suleiman Shushu, Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) vice president, stressed on the UQU Vice Presidency’s interest in making its initiative targeting the administrative distinction and development in all the governmental services. This also comes as part of the Vice Presidency’s plan to periodically conduct workshops aimed at the department directors and assistants; in order to upgrade the organizational environment.
This was part of a speech he delivered at the second workshop titled “Advantages and Bonuses… Quantum Leap for Work” held by the Vice Presidency, represented by the Faculty and Personnel Affairs Department, on Thursday morning, November 24th, 2016.
Within the same vein, Dr. Shushu pointed out that the technology is a key element for facilitating the work performance, and for stopping wasting paper and doing jobs within short time. After that, the workshop started with listening to the floor’s opinions, and then discussion kicked off. The discussion came up to the conclusion that the bonuses are the return for the distinctive performance, based upon specific standards. Similarly, the bonuses can not be considered a complement for the wages and salaries. And employees must sense the spirit of justice that helps boost belonging and conscientiousness, as well as creating the healthy and training environment necessary for the employees. The workshop ended with an agreement to holding the next one within two weeks, under the title “Leave System”.
Still, present at the workshop were Mr. Omar Bazara’ah, the deputy director of the Faculty and Personnel Affairs Department and Mr. Ahmed Alswas; the assistant director of the Faculty and Personnel Affairs Department.
