The Standing Committee for Training and Scholarships held its 4th meeting for the academic year 1437/1438H on Wednesday, Safar 23, 1438H. Convened by the UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Thamer bin Hemdan al-Harbi, the meeting was attended by the Supervisor General of Scholarships, Dr. Ahmed bin Youssef Barqawi, and all other committee members.
The committee secretary, Mr. Wael Abdulraziq Shaldoom, stated that topics on the agenda were discussed, came up with appropriate recommendations.
Recommendations were put forth concerning all topics on the agenda:
Number of persons whose grants were approved: 10 TAs and instructors
Number of persons whose grants were terminated: 3 person
Number of persons whose academic trip requests were approved: 1 person
Number of persons on scholarships whose requests to change university were approved: 1 person
Number of persons on scholarship whose requests to change specialty were approved: 2 persons
Number of persons on scholarships whose requests to change scholarship places were approved: 3 person
Number of persons on scholarships whose requests to extend PhD scholarships were approved: 3 persons
Number of persons on scholarships whose requests to extend language courses were approved: 4 persons
Number of persons on scholarship whose request to attend training courses were approved: 1 person.

This mode adjusts the website for colorblind users such as Protanopia, Deuteranopia, Tritanopia, and others. It also helps users with Cataracts and Glaucoma.
Dyslexia Friendly Mode
Helps users with Dyslexia
This mode adjusts the website to be easier to read for people with Dyslexia, which is a reading disability characterized by trouble with reading despite normal intelligence.
ADHD Friendly Mode
Reduces distractions and improve focus
This mode helps users with ADHD and Neurodevelopmental disorders to read, browse, and focus on the main website elements more easily while significantly reducing distractions.
Blindness Mode
Allows using the site with your screen-reader
