His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, today at his office in Al-Abdiyyah, received the annual report of the General Department of Museums for the academic year 1439–1440 A.H. The presentation of the report was attended by Prof. Abdul-Majeed Al-Ghamdi, the UQU Vice President for Branches, and Dr. Fahd Al-Malki, the General Supervisor of the Museums Department at the University.

The annual report documented the achievements made by the General Department of Museums in its various tasks, activities, events and programs organized with the purpose of serving the university community and society at large.

The annual report further included a documentation of the visits paid by officials, businessmen, and pilgrims performing Hajj or Umrah, in addition to visits by academic staff members, university students, and general education students.

Dr. Fahd Al-Malki greatly valued the continuous follow-up and support given by the University Vice Presidency for Branches, represented by its Vice President Prof. Abdul-Majeed Al-Ghamdi, coupled with the efforts exerted by his colleagues at the Museums Department. He stressed that these achievements could not have been accomplished without Allah's support, first and foremost, and then the support and follow-up of His Excellency the UQU President.

On his part, His Excellency the UQU President commended the efforts exerted by the General Department of Museums as well as the tangible successes achieved during the academic year 1439–1440 A.H.
