Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the office of His Excellency the President of the University, received ISO certification (9001:2015) for the quality of the administrative procedures at the organizational level in the office units according to international standards as part of the strategic plan of the university. This supports the continuous improvement of its administrative and financial organization. This is based on the criteria of evaluating the administrative performance in its various aspects to achieve comprehensive quality standards, qualify the administrative and financial sectors, and achieve the vision of the office in terms of excellence and leadership in the administrative work, according to an organized mechanism and a specific strategy worthy of the university.

Achieving this certification is global recognition of the university's commitment to international standards to improve service quality, streamline procedures, continuously measure and develop processes and self-control, as well as staff development and motivation for outstanding performance and innovation.

It should be noted that the office has previously undergone the process of reviewing the quality management system from the Italian Quality Certification Bureau (QCB) organization. It praised the efforts of the office with regard to the effectiveness of the system and the provision of services at the university.

The accreditation certificate was received today by His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, in his office by the Italian QCB organization. On this occasion, His Excellency expressed his thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to this remarkable achievement and called on all to continue the process of innovation and excellence. He added that the office's receipt of this certificate is a motivation for all sectors of the university to follow this pioneering step.

For his part, His Excellency the Advisor and General Supervisor of the Office of His Excellency the President of the University, Dr. Himdan Al-Ghamdi, stressed that quality is not a luxury of Umm Al-Qura University, but rather a necessity for the university as a first step for the colleges and departments of the university to obtain academic accreditation in order to achieve Saudi Vision 2030 in line with the university's mission in terms of distinguished academic authority in the application of comprehensive quality systems and academic accreditation.

His Excellency, Mr. Turki Al-Zahrani, the General Director of the UQU President's Office, and Mr. Baraa Al-Turkistani, the Deputy Director General of the Office of His Excellency the UQU President, expressed their thanks to Allah, the Exalted, and praised the support of His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, the UQU President, for his interest in and motivation of the staff of the office. They mentioned that the office began work in this regard nearly three months ago to carry out this unprecedented achievement.

In addition, His Excellency the University President handed out certificates of thanks to all the staff of the office, congratulating them on this achievement. He also stressed that the achievement of this certificate was the result of the hard work and great efforts exerted by all the staff of the office, and called for exerting more efforts to maintain a high level of performance.
