Today, His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, inaugurated the website of the Department of Administrative Development, whose design was executed in coordination with the Deanship of Information Technology. The purpose of the website is to automate and connect the application requests using the training and development programs, through electronic workflows on the university's website. The inauguration was carried out in the presence of His Excellency the Vice President of the University, Dr. Yasser Shosho, at King Abdul-Aziz Historical Support Hall in Al-Abdiyyah.
The web page aims at facilitating registration procedures for the training and development programs that are supervised by the Department of Administrative Development in terms of submission and implementation. This is done via forms for application or withdrawal from the courses and seminars offered by the Institute of Public Administration.
The web page provides the employees dispatch program and study completion requests for staff members (Master's degree, PhD degree) offered by the institute. It also handles the registration and updating of the personal data of the institute staff.
This web page comes within the framework of achieving Saudi Vision 2030, in pace with the electronic transformation that was advised by the country's wise leadership, may Allah support it, and to keep pace with the development activity pursued by the university towards applying the King Salman Program for Human Resources.
His Excellency the UQU President expressed his appreciation for all the efforts made by the administrative development team and their keenness to facilitate all transactions. The Director of the Department of Administrative Development, Mr. Walid Simbawah, highlighted the efforts of Mr. Ammar Shawish, one of the administration staff, in developing and organizing the web page, and also the fruitful cooperation of the Deanship of Information Technology with the department.
