The first conference of business administration students in the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) came to a close on Thursday, 07 Rajab 1437 H. The closing program included a visit to the Factory manufacturing the Kiswa of the Holy Ka’ba, the Exhibition of the Two Holy Mosques Architecture and Al-Salamu Alaika Ayuha Al-Nabi (Peace be Upon You, Prophet Mohamed) Exhibition. In these visits, students got acquainted with the techniques, devices and tools used in manufacturing the Kiswa. They also checked the antiquities at the Exhibition of the Two Holy Mosques Architecture, including copies of the Holy Quran, manuscripts, pictures and epigraphs among other items.
Students and sponsors were afterwards honored. Dr. Sultan bin Ayed Al-Baqmi, the Dean of the UQU College of Business Administration, appreciated the incessant efforts and the constant support made by the University President, Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas and the Vice-Presidents. He also thanked all those who took part in the conference, indicating that multiple visions and objectives that are of interest to business administration students in GCC countries were identified in this conference.
