The Higher Institute for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice held a workshop entitled, "Research Priorities for the Higher Institute for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice" at the female section, in collaboration with the Deanship of Scientific Research, on Thursday, at 10 a.m. This workshop aimed at developing ideas and initiatives for research projects that serve modern issues and support the Vision. It was held through the participation of female researchers at Umm Al-Qura University, in different related fields, and beneficiary entities, such as: the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, the International Organization for Relief, Welfare and Development, Yusr Female Center, Amnah Endowment Institution, Isaad Endowment Institution, and the Directorate of Female Prisons in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
Dr. Eman bint Abdul-Rahman Al-Maghrabi, Vice-Dean of the Higher Institute for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, organized the workshop. She talked about the vision, mission and objectives of the institute that aim at achieving the vision of the Saudi Kingdom. She pointed out that the main themes of the workshop attempt to answer the following, most important questions:
The events of the workshop started and produced a number of suggested research initiatives and projects to serve Ihtisab, arranging research priorities according to female researchers' experiences and the needs of the beneficiary bodies. The workshop ended by offering certificates of appreciation to the female participants. Thanks and gratitude were also expressed to His Excellency the Dean of the Higher Institute, Prof. Abdul-Wahhab Al-Risaini, for promoting this qualitative workshop, and His Excellency Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Ahdal, the Dean of Scientific Research.
