As part of the series of scientific meetings held by the Scientific Research Committee at the Department of Chemistry in the College of Applied Sciences, the second scientific meeting was held under the title "Corrosion Inhibition of Some Metals and Alloys in Aqueous Solution." The meeting was presented by Professor Metwalli Abdullah Sa`id, a chemistry professor at the department, at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday Rajab 20 1440 A.H., in the meeting hall in the Department of Chemistry (male section) in Al-Abdiyyah branch and the meeting hall in the office of the department's vice dean (female section) at Al-Zahir Branch.
The meeting was attended by a number of the department's academic staff. At the end of the meeting, His Excellency the Head of the Department, Dr. Isma`il bin Ibrahim Al-Thaqafi, honored Professor Metwalli Al-Sayyid.
The Head of the Department expressed his thanks and appreciation for the attendants and the Scientific Research Committee for organizing such useful scientific meetings that pave the way to building research partnerships between the academic staff in different disciplines of chemistry.
