Umm Al-Qura University Celebrates the Graduation of Students from the University Colleges in Al-Leith and Adham

Umm Al-Qura University celebrates the graduation of more than 850 female graduates from the University Colleges in two governorates: Al-Leith and Adham. The event took place in the presence of the Vice President of the University for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli, the Vice Dean of Al-Leith University College, Dr. Eman Al-Lihaibi, the Supervisor of the University College in Adham, Dr. Nuhair Taha, and the Supervisor of the College of Health Sciences, Dr. Rabiyah Abdul-Basit.

Dr. Sarah Al-Khuli congratulated the female graduates, as they had the honor of gaining knowledge and fulfilled the requirements of their scientific degrees in an educational environment that attracts knowledge and learning, which helped greatly in achieving their aspirations and desires. She indicated that culminating their success with the graduation ceremony came after a series of successes and challenges that were faced and actually overcome.

Dr. Al-Khuli praised the support given by the wise leadership (may Allah safeguard it) to women and their demands, which enabled them to contribute in serving their religion, country and community in accordance with the requirements of the Saudi Vision 2030. She also praised the continuous support of His Excellency Dr. Hamad Al Al-Sheikh, Minister of Education. Moreover, she expressed her appreciation for the interest of His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of Umm Al-Qura University, in the activities and programs conducted in the female section that include his keenness to hold this marvelous celebration that gathered the happiness of the mothers with that of their daughters at the university building of Umm Al-Qura.

The Vice Dean of Al-Leith University College, Dr. Eman Al-Lihaibi, pointed out that the number of female graduates at Al-Leith University College were 563, 40 from the College of Computer Science, and 25 from the College of Health Sciences. The number of female graduates at Adham University College reached 250.

The Vice Dean of the University College stated, "We remember on this occasion the march of construction and renaissance, which is adopted by the vision of the modern Saudi Kingdom that is represented in the empowerment and support of women to carry out her pioneering and developmental role. Thus, the Saudi woman is able to have the status that suits her role in this great nation. We today celebrate the introduction of an outstanding galaxy of our female students to the labor market after developing their abilities and their educational outcomes in the university stage."

She recommended the graduates to achieve their aspirations in completing their scientific study and care of different fields of knowledge. In this way they can promote their country and bring up generations that will be able to lead the Saudi Kingdom to the category of developed nations. She then expressed her thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, and the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, for their support to the university and its branches at the female section.
