Under the auspices of Ms. Najat Al-Jad`ani, in the presence of the public accountant Ms. Huda Uqail Al-Zaila`i, female student Abrar Al-Qurashi from the Department of Accounting held a meeting entitled "Introductory Meeting on SOCPA." The targeted category was accounting students of all levels. The meeting included the following themes:
- Providing information about the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA).
- Exam goals and materials.
- Number of exam questions.
- Exam preparation.
- Certified public accountants system.
- Certified public accountants commitments.
- Student membership.
The public accountant gave information about the rules and ethics of the profession and answered questions.
The meeting was held in the presence of the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Hanadi Qamrah, the Deputy Head of the Department, Dr. Ruaa Makki, and members of the department.
At the end of the meeting, a prize draw was held for four versions of a book (Zamil) by Dr. Mus`ab Al-Ji`aidi, who offered them as gifts for attendees. The response from the attendees indicated that the meeting was a success.
