In order to raise the cognitive and technical level of its students, the Department of Computer Engineering announces the beginning of registration in the First Student Contest which will be held on Wednesday, Rabee I 3, 1438H (November 30, 2016).

The contest will be a question that describes a certain logical problem. The students are then required to draw and design a manual electronic circuit that solves such problem. The laboratory will be equipped with all the necessary pieces and tools for the circuit to be turned on. A few days after the competition, a recognition ceremony, in which prizes will be handed to the first three winners, will be held:

• 1st Place Prize: SAR 500
• 2nd Place Prize: SAR 300
• 3rd Place Prize: SAR 200

The competition will be limited to the Department's Grade7+ students who have passed the exam of Digital Systems Digital Logic and Design.

The competition will be held at the Digital Systems Digital Logic and Design Lab, College of Engineering Building (H8), at 11:00am.
