The Scientific Council Secretariat is pleased to inform the academic staff members of the approval of their appointments as assistant professors by His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University at the thirteenth session of the Academic Council for the academic year 1439/1440 A.H. The secretariat members wish the newly appointed teaching staff more success in the field of scientific research, and supplicate Allah to encompass them with His care and support to achieve all their hopes and aspirations, and accomplish their goals.

- Appointment of lecturer Amal bint Muhammad bin Sa`id Al-Shahrani as assistant professor at the Department of Computer Sciences and Information Systems at the College of Computer and Information Systems.
The Council also made the appropriate recommendations regarding the topics included in the agenda of the aforementioned session.
