The Academic Council Secretariat is pleased to inform the academic staff of the approval of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University of their promotions included in the thirteenth session of the Scientific Council for the academic year 1439/1440 A.H. The secretariat members wish the newly appointed teaching staff more success in the field of scientific research, and supplicate Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to encompass them with His care and support to achieve their hopes and accomplish their goals.
The Scientific Council Secretariat requests that the following faculty members visit its office by the end of the coming week.
Names of the academic staff members and their promotions:
- Promotion of His Excellency Dr. Omar bin Hasan Ibrahim Al-Rashidi, associate professor at the Department of Training Courses, the Higher Institute for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, to professor.
- Promotion of His Excellency Dr. Murdi bin Ghurmullah Hasan Al-Zahrani, associate professor at the Department of Curriculum and Teaching Methods, College of Education, to professor.
- Promotion of His Excellency Dr. Ahmad bin Ali Hayyan Harisi, assistant professor at the Department of Qura'nic Recitations, College of Da`wah and Fundamentals of Religion, to associate professor.
- Promotion of His Excellency Dr. Hassan bin Adnan Muhammad Amin Bukhari, assistant professor at the Department of Surgery, College of Medicine, to associate professor.
- Promotion of His Excellency Dr. Al-Husain bin Ahmad bin Ibrahim Al-Nashiri, assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics, University College in Al-Qunfudhah, to associate professor.
- Promotion of Her Excellency Dr. Nawal bint Sa`id Omar Badaghish, assistant professor at the Department of Shari`ah (Islamic Law), College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, to associate professor.
- Promotion of Her Excellency Dr. Manal bint Mubti Hamid Al-Masoudi, assistant professor at the Department Classical Arabic Rhetoric and Literary Criticism, College of Arabic Language, to associate professor.
The Council also made the appropriate recommendations regarding the topics included in the agenda of the aforementioned session.
