Within the endeavors of Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the Deanship of Admissions and Registration, to educate female students in Makkah secondary schools and to introduce the university and its majors to them, the Deanship of Admission and Registration of the Female Section organized an introductory visit to the Al-Maarifah Private Secondary Schools in Makkah on Sunday, 26 Jumada Al-Thani, 1440 A.H. The visit was presided over by staff member Shadha Al-Thubaiti, accompanied by Ms. Hanan Shari`ah and Ms. Rania Siraj from the admissions department. This visit comes within a series of visits being organized by the department to the secondary schools in Makkah.
At the beginning of the visit, the Head of the Department introduced the university to the students. Then the students listened to a detailed explanation of the admission mechanisms and criteria, including the steps of online registration and the submission of application forms. Afterwards, they explained to the students the registration procedures and the available specializations.
The Head of the Department stressed the importance of such visits that help students organize their educational plans. This also positively reflects on the progress and flourishing of education at various educational levels.
At the end of the visit, the staff of the department answered the questions asked by the female students, and thanked the students and staff of the school for the warm reception and hospitality extended to them during the visit.
