The Standing Supervisory Committee on Scientific Research Ethics held its second session for the academic year 1439/1440 A.H., on Sunday, 19 Jumada Al-Thani, 1440 A.H. The session was headed by the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Thamir bin Himdan Al-Harbi. All the committee members were present.

Yasir bin Sayf Al-Shareef, committee secretary, clarified that all the topics on the agenda were discussed. They were as follows:

1. The methods and mechanisms of the work of the supervisory committee and sub-committees were discussed.
2. Approval of committee forms pertaining to receipt of applications.

Appropriate recommendations were made concerning these agenda items.
